The 16 tooth drive sprocket is a popular accessory for the SG250 cafe racer motorcycle. It gives you more top end speed at the expense of torque and acceleration. The 16 tooth drive sprocket replaces the stock 15 tooth sprocket, and it is easy to install with some basic tools. However, you should know that changing the sprocket size affects the chain length and tension. That’s why we recommend purchasing and installing a new 428x120 link chain with the sprocket. You will also need to remove some links from the chain to fit your bike properly. Don’t worry, we have a helpful YouTube video that shows you how to do it step by step.
