Symptoms of a Faulty Motor:
- Motor Shuddering: Violent vibration or "stuttering" during take-off usually indicates a phase wire or Hall sensor failure.
- Mechanical Noise: Grinding or high-pitched whining typically points to worn internal bearings.
- Increased Resistance: If the wheel is hard to turn by hand while the motor is unplugged, internal mechanical damage or a short is likely.
Installation Note: Ensure all phase wire nuts are torqued securely and insulated. Loose connections create high resistance and can melt the wiring harness.
