Product Overview

Introducing the CSC Motorcycles ES5, a powerful and stylish electric scooter that will take you on an unforgettable adventure.

If you’re looking for a smooth, economical, and fun way to get around town, you’ll love the CSC ES5 electric scooter. This e-scooter drive system has a peppy 5000W (6.7 hp) mid-motor, a vector closed-loop controller, and three group lithium 60V31Ah (1860Wh) batteries. Together, that means riders get 5.58 kWh of capacity, but divided into batteries small enough to carry inside for charging if you don’t already have a convenient garage charging option. That’s enough battery to go 68 miles at a 31 mph average speed. Now if you’re cruising at the scooter’s 53 mph top speed all the time, you definitely won’t achieve that full 68 miles of range. But since very few cities are 68 miles across, you’ll probably be fine with enough range to last for a few days of riding.

Whether you need to commute to work, explore the park, with a top speed of 52.8 mph the ES5 can handle any urban challenge. With a top speed of 52.8 mph (85 km/h), this electric scooter has enough speed to take riders on pretty much any road in a city. Urban highways might be within the question, though interstates aren’t likely to be a fun experience on a 52 mph scooter. With urban commuter-level speeds, the CSC ES5 is obviously meant for daily commuting and utility riding. But it’s still quite peppy with a 5 kW belt-driving centrally mounted motor. That’s the continuous power, too. The peak power is rated at 8 kW.

There’s no denying that the ES5 is a serious bang for your buck when compared against the competition. The feature rich ES5 electric scooter comes with a colorful TFT instrument display, LED lamps, keyless start, Bluetooth audio, driving recorder, portable charger, and USB interface. You can monitor your speed, battery level, driving mode, and other information on the display. You can also listen to your favorite music, record your journey, charge your devices, and more with the ES5’s advanced features. There’s even seating for two with a set of pillion pegs and rear grab bars.

Style and comfort compliment the features and power of the ES5. It has a classic scooter design with a step-thru frame, leg shield with an aluminum alloy frame, aluminum wheels, tubeless tires (front 4.3/3.1-14; rear 5.1/2.4-13), front and rear disc brakes with CBS, upright front suspension and double rear suspension, belt drive, integral double seat cushion, and rear armrest. It also comes in various colors to suit your preference.

The ES5 is the ultimate electric scooter for anyone who wants to enjoy a green and sustainable ride. Riding an e-scooter has many benefits over using a car or even a motorcycle. You can save money on gas, parking fees, insurance, and maintenance. You can also reduce your carbon footprint and help the environment. Plus, you can improve your fitness, posture, balance, coordination, mood, and stress levels by riding an e-scooter.

Don’t miss this opportunity to get your own CSC ES5 electric scooter today. MSRP of US $5,295 (not including another $470 in dealer fees), the CSC ES5 is favorably priced compared to the competition. Available in three colorways. Order now and get ready to experience the joy of riding an e-scooter that’s economical, smart, and comfortable.

    Great neighborhood/commute Scoot

Posted by Josh M on Sep 7th 2024

So overall I am loving this scooter. This is a short term review, but having gone through the process of buying had the chance to ride it a bit: The Good: - CSC is awesome to deal with. They made the purchase process fairly smooth, despite being order and ship. The bike was WELL packed in a wood crate with metal L joins, and tied down with rachet straps (which we've already used again since unpacking). - The bike is quiet and smooth and a joy to ride. - The seat is comfortable enough -- and as a matter of practice, you won't ever have to sit on it too long at once. - This thing is eye catching. I've had numerous people want to take a look and ask about it already. - It gets about 25 miles/battery in comfort mode. It comes with 3 batteries, but see below. - easily manages 40mph in comfort mode, and has a boost button if you need a short burst of power beyond that. I haven't even put it in sport yet, but honestly don't see any reason to. This bike is intended for your 35-40mph city streets and it does that very very well. - The LED lights are very bright and visible, and the head lamp is at least good enough for urban lit roads, which is frankly where this thing is probably living given the range characteristics. Overall I love the bike. But it isn't perfect, and here are some things I wish were better: - Every time you turn it on, the bike announces, very loudly, in "Engrish", "The bruetrooth devrice is wreddy to par", letting everyone in a 10 yard radius know that you have a Chinese scooter. - The above would be less annoying if the bike did something with the bluetooth like navigation, but as far as I can tell the only things it does are audio to the speaker and attaching to the webcam. - The "alarm" *hillariously* screams "Bruetrooth!" and then beeps, as I discovered when I set the fob down in my garage and went to push the bike in. - the keyless FOB... is not terrible. it can be a little odd, but I am getting used to it. But it would be 1000x better if it had a "seat" button for releasing the seat on the FOB without having to activate the bike dial. - This bike is REALLY hurting for cargo space. Mind you I don't expect to make a Costco run on a small scooter, but there is currently no available rear rack option, and the third battery fills the under seat. Even if you run on 2 batteries, and leave the under seat for storage, the space is not large enough for a full helmet. I know that last part sounds pretty negative, but most of that is quibble territory. The truth is that this scooter is incredibly fun to ride, and I absolutely love the thing despite the quibbles, and the most significant complaint would be fixed if a rear rack solution emerged. I researched every small electric scooter out there (and there really aren't that many in the U.S. to be honest), and this is by FAR the best such bike for the price.

Great scooter, lives up to the promise!

Posted by Dave Munger on Apr 29th 2024

I've had my scooter for 5 months now and it's definitely lived up to the promise. Range and maximum speed are accurate and this thing flies even up steep hills. Only wish the battery didn't take up so much of the storage compartment. I'm looking for compatible racks / storage boxes but haven't located any yet.
